Freesat as we know it on the Costa del Sol will be changing in August 2013 over to the new Astra 2E satellite.
All of the information below is current at present however it will be changing once the new satellite has been deployed and is operational. The current channels listed on the website but will be adjusted accordingly when the new satellite is in situ.

FreeSat, HD - HDR's Costa del Sol

This is the ideal channel package for our customers who do not want to subscribe to Sky digital, preferring the basic television channels i.e. BBC1 BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

With Freesat systems you also get over 200 other channels that are free including all your BBC's, ITV's and independent radio stations, CNN, Sky News, CH4, CH5, etc etc. So you will never be far away from all your favourite soaps, news and information programmes. Sky are also adding programmes to their Freesat channel listing all the time and we now have BBC 3, BBC 4 and ITV2, ITV3, so this may be the perfect option for you.

FreeSat HD +

There are now a great range of Freesat + (PVR's) Personal Video Recorders so you can have the Freesat equivalent of Sky Plus but without having a contract with Sky or paying the monthly bills.

FreeSat HD + can be viewed using a number of boxes on the market with varying degrees of quality but we always use the Humax range as they have a fantastic build quality and work perfectly in fringe reception areas.

Currently we install either the 320GB and 500GB models. You will need a twin LNB with 2 x cables from your dish or community system for the box to work properly.
