MIFI Spain Rental Terms and Conditions

Below you will find our terms and conditions in regards to renting WIFI. If you have any questions that are not answered here or anywhere else on the site, please contact us via our contact page.

Service Hours

Our Calahonda Drop off - Pick up point operates from 9am to 5pm Mon to Fri. There is an out of hours drop off point located in our MIFI post box at the front door to the office. Directions are 1st turning on the right after Mcdonalds, beach side direction Marbella to Malaga. The Vacation Care office is located opposite the Tom Burton outdoor furniture store. There is a car park with plenty of parking next to the office. GPS Coordinates: 36°29'18.4"N 4°43'21.7"W

Our Nueva Andalucia office Drop off - Pick up point is open 7 days a week from 10am to6pm. This is located at Aloha Gardens reception, Avenida del Prado. Directions, take the exit off the A7 (N340) opposite El Corte ingles (signposted Puerto Banus). Head inland past the Bull ring, go straight over the first roundabout, 2nd roundabout, take the first exit, third roundabout, take the first exit, for Aloha. Aloha Gardens is located 450 metres on the right hand side in between the El Jardin and The Living room bars. Outside reception is the parking area. For out of hours drop offs, there is a safety deposit box on the right of reception. You will be given the code for this if you book a 'Pick up/Drop off' at Aloha Gardens. If you book your MIFI router for collection from Calahonda, you will need to drop off your MIFI router at Calahonda.

If you book your MIFI router for collection at Nueva Andalucia, you will need to drop off your MIFI router at Nueva Andalucia. We cannot mix and match locations.

If you have clicked the 'Delivery' option for your MIFI, your MIFI router will be delivered to the address stipulated on your order for the specified fee of 40€ for delivery and 40€ for collection. Please leave your telephone switched on in the event there are any difficulties in finding your location. The delivery zones are between Fuengirola to Mijas Costa and Marbella area to Estepona. Any delivery outside of these zones will incur an additional charge and will be specified at the time of booking.

Payment on Collection or Delivery

Upon collection of your MIFI you will be required to sign a rental agreement and pay the rental charge specified on your order. Payment will be taken in cash or from your debit/credit card. All charges include tax and an invoice can be provided upon request. ID will be required for any credit card transactions

A deposit of 50€ is payable for the MIFI which is refunded to your credit card account or via cash when your MIFI is returned, provided that:

Please note, if you are returning the MIFI out of hours, the method of deposit shall be credit card in order that a refund can be made.

The Sky Doctors MIFI/WIFI Rental product is not price connected with our 'Buy to rent' or our MIFI for resident 3G/4G products.

The Sky Doctors will not accept responsibility for any damage that the MIFI/WIFI router causes to any external equipment.

Complaints/Cancellations/Refunds/Faulty Equipment

Any complaints should be raised and will be actioned within a 48 hour period. Complaints will not be recognised if this procedure has not been followed. Refunds can only be agreed with the consent of The Sky Doctors.

Cancellations must be emailed/telephoned through within a 48 hour period.

The client will be given a guide and brief instruction on how to use the MIFI/WIFI router however if a fault occurs that cannot be resolved then the client should either call The Sky Doctors +34 952 763 840 or Vacation Care +34 952 930 600.

Pricing Policy

All prices quoted are inclusive of IVA (VAT). We firmly believe that companies that quote (plus IVA/VAT) prices are misleading clients with a lower price, only to add 21% to the price thereafter.

The Sky Doctors promote and facilitate deliveries. Credit card transactions and collection/drop off service is administered by Vacation Care International España SL, This is the name which shall appear on any credit card statement. The internet connection is provided by Orange.

Data Limits for the MIFI/WIFI Router

There is a fair use policy data limit of 2 to 4GB, 'Daily' on the MIFI/WIFI Router. If this limit is exceeded (over 4GB) the MIFI is highly likely to be cut off.

In the event of this happening and to continue using the WIFI service, the client will need to contact the collection/drop off point, either (Aloha Gardens) for Nueva Andalucia on +34 952 814 454 or Vacation Care for Calahonda on +34 952 930 600 to arrange a new SIM card that will need to be collected to allow clients to continue with MIFI/WIFI usage.

There is obviously a charge for the new SIM as the limit has been exceeded. The charge will be at a proportional rate for the days remaining for MIFI rental excluding the cost of excess usage.
